Do you charge

a deposit to rent?

We require a $100 booking and retainer fee to secure your date on our availability calendar. We understand the wedding climate is ever-changing and plans can change too. Your $100 retainer fee is fully refundable should plans change and you need to cancel within 30 days of booking. After 30 days we apply the amount towards the balance of your contract. 

Do you require a minimum, and what are payment options?

For local venues, within a 35 mile radius we do not charge a minimum. We also do not charge a minimum for any eligible rentals picked up from our site. For deliveries outside the radius, we do implement a $400 minimum. 

After booking your event, you can pay for your deposit and rental items via our secure website. After your retainer fee is paid, we can split up your payments at your request, but the final balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to your event date.

How much is delivery, and how does it work?

We deliver within a 35 mile radius of Ashburn, Virginia for a flat fee of $150 round trip. Cost varies for additional miles outside the radius. 

Delivery includes setting up large decor pieces in the location picked out. Smaller decor items are brought packed and delivered to the pre-arranged point of contact for the day. In some cases, depending on your venue, we may be able to deliver the night before your day and pick up the morning after. We will do our best to work with what you need!

Can I pick up my

rental items?

You can pick up any eligible rental decor from our Ashburn location. We charge a flat packaging fee of $35 to safely prepare items for transport. 

In full transparency and disclosure, we do charge 5 x the price of the rental for any broken decor piece returned. All of our rental contracts have an Optional Damage Waiver should any item be damaged not due to negligence such as leaving items in the rain or sprinklers.

What rentals are eligible for pickup and how long can I keep them?

Due to liability reasons, the following items require delivery and set up by Blissful Design & Decor staff only:

All other rental decor is eligible for pickup at our Ashburn location.

Upon arrangement, items may be picked up as early as 3 days prior to the event date and returned 2 days post event date.

Do you offer "Flip" Service?

We encourage repurpousing your rentals to maximize your savings! As such, we do offer a “Flip” service when the ceremony and reception will be taking place in the same location. Just let us know if you would like our team to come back to move rentals after your ceremony and we can include that in your quote. 


Please note that large rentals, such as arches, barrels and tables, must remain at set up location unless "Flip Service" is selected.
